Ahhhh! A new post! ๐
Some of you may know that my husband is deployed. Because of this our adventures these days are more likely to be to the bowling alley or a local restaurant near base. Further exploration is on hold for just a couple more months! Fortunately Justin was able to come home for a couple of weeks in October and we got to do a few fun things. Before I got sick and was hospitalized. ๐ But I am okay now and that’s a whole post of it’s own! One of our outings while he was home was to the nearby ruins of the Capua Amplitheater, or Anfiteatro Campano o Capuano.
The ruins are the second largest ancient amplitheater in Italy. ย The first is the Coliseum in Rome. It is thought to have been built between 27 BC and AD 14. THAT IS INSANE!!! SO much amazing history to walk through and explore.
The trip was also a chance to scout it out as a possible location for us to shoot professional family or portrait sessions. I’d say it was a win and I’m excited to photograph a maternity session there soon! Here are a few of my favorite images from that day, I hope you love them as much as we enjoyed exploring!
I love this blog!! Amazzzzzzing pics!
Look who I found!! I just found your blog and plan on stalking you guys! Your boys are getting so big and more gorgeous by the day. What a beautiful life you have. I’m so happy for the Stumbergs! ~Julia in Arkansas
